Metallica, Cheech And Chong This Week In Vancouver

Vancouver, BC (CNS) - American heavy metal band Metallica is all set to rock Vancouver on December 2, Friday evening at General Motors (GM) Stadium. Metallica's line-up has primarily consisted of Ulrich, rhythm guitarist and vocalist James Hetfield, and lead guitarist Kirk Hammett, while going through a number of bassists. Currently, the spot is held by Robert Trujillo.

Metallica has released nine studio albums, two live albums, two EPs, twenty-two music videos, and forty-three singles. The band has won seven Grammy Awards, and has had five consecutive albums debut at number one on the Billboard 200, making Metallica the only band ever to do so.

Cheech and Chong, the comedy duo, consisting of Richard "Cheech" Marin and Tommy Chong will also perform at Queen Elizabeth Theatre on December 5.
